Cook Out

"I'll start out by saying I've been to Cook Outs from all over North Carolina, to Mississippi, and decided to drop in tonight for a cheap meal. The service was great, my party was confused about the double up option, we got that squared away. Simple misunderstanding. Lady was very helpful. The atmosphere was okay, nobody really seemed to want to be there. But the food, I get the same thing at every single cook out I've eaten at. It was the spicy chicken sandwich tray, I ate the sides, was great, can't really mess up a chicken wrap. But the burger was terrible. The patty was cold, burger seemed like it had been sitting on the counter for a bit waiting to be served. The overall quality of this establishment compared to other cook outs I have been is definitely not the greatest."

"THOUSAND PERCENT would recommend! My missionary companion and I were BLOWN AWAY by not only the clean atmosphere but the 10/10 food and service! We did arrive after a rush, but you wouldn't have known from how well the dine-in area was kept. Though it took forever for ME to decide what I wanted (because everything looked so good!) once I DID decide it was over from there. The food was fast. The food was hot. And the food was good! The guy working the register (longer hair white male, said he was the manager) treated us both so politely. Absolutely made our day and made our stomachs happy!"

"When I normally go to cookout I usually get the spicy chicken sandwich. And it’s usually good, but this time I wanted to switch it up and get the hamburger tray. If I didn’t stay too far I would have went right back to Cookout and got my money back because this hamburger wouldn’t even feed my toddler. The meat was smaller than the palm of my hands. The tomatoes and onions was as big as a cup(maybe to hide the hamburger meat). I honestly should have went over to Wendy’s next door and got a 5 for 5 combo with the double cheeseburger and nuggets. Don’t order the hamburger tray because you’ll get scammed out of some meat."

"First time visiting and eating here. Very sharp looking. I liked the inside of the place. Very clean. Although when we first got in, we encountered a small dog on a leash (like a Chihuahua-type?).. on the hand of a teenager. Not sure of that situation. But anyway, I liked the coleslaw but not so much the burger. It was a bit burnt on the edges and kinda small. But for the price I couldn't complain. The place was nearly empty too, so pretty quiet. I had to get a slaw to go before leaving. Wish they had bigger sizes."
