"I have eaten at the Corner Cafe many times, both dine in and takeout. It is clear that the owner loves to feed her costumers excellent food and desserts. Come for the food but stay for the cheesecake."

"Was very disappointed after weeks of watching commercials and wanting to go there. The coffee was like water served in cracked cups. The cheese cake was completely frozen. Doesn't anyone make anything homemade anymore? I can buy frozen cheese cake and frozen food for a fraction of the cost, for the prices you see in restaurants I expect homemade and I expect it to be a treat and very good, not pulled from the freezer. This is why I never eat out. I will say she had beautiful fresh cut flowers on every table, which was wonderful. I'm hopeful she will find a way to make a special place. I brought my boyfriend in that time, an Englishman that lives in France and the french make everything fresh and homemade. Even coffee is made one cup at a time, and it's amazing. The best fresh ingredients, too. Obviously the owner is not very nice either from her reply. I know what I saw, the coffee was water, cold and the cheese cake was frozen and not homemade at all. If she would look at all my reviews she would have seen I have traveled the world and I've given hundreds of excellent reviews. So much for trying to help someone get better. We won't be back."

"Came in for first time ever for breakfast. Very charming decor and friendly service. I ordered an omelette that had ham, cheese, onion and orange bell peppers. Cook perfectly with peppers still having a little crunch. It is a 2 egg omelette but so huge you can easily share. I also tried the cheese grits at the recommendation of the owner. Best I have ever had. I can’t wait to come back and try lunch."
