"We purchased lifetime alignment for my kia soul ,I got tired of paying over $700 for a set of tires at Firestone and when we started getting it aligned using tires I bought for $232 for a full set on Amazon they started telling me parts in my front end were bad and couldn’t align it correctly ,I replaced the parts myself for $40 they were going to charge $312 to replace them and come to find out those parts weren’t even bad but I already bought them and just put them on ,in the 6 months I got 6 alignments and the car drove worse and worse with each alignment until I couldn’t drive it in the rain because it was so squirly,my tires in that 6 months and 6 alignments are now bald and my rear tires are like new!,on my 6 th alignment the mentioned that it could be my rack and pinion going bad and it would be over $1500 .i got a second opinion from holinsworth and had them do a full inspection and determined the only thing wrong with my car is the alignment! $100 later and my Kia hasn’t driven this good since new ! This ordeal cost me over $500 to recover from and endangered my life and prevented me from going to work when it rained .when I confronted the salesman at the desk he said there were new workers there and need more training and the alignment racks were malfunctioning and he’d have the manager call me ,he never did so I called the customer service and made a complaint and she said someone will call in a week so I called again and talked to someone and they said there is no record of my complaint and would call me back in a week and they never did so I called one last time and got the same run around , this corporate company doesn’t care about its customers or their safety and is a well played scam .you will find integrity at your small mom and pop shops rather than this heartless soulless corporation .the better business bureau is going to know about this ."
"I brought my truck in as my brakes would fail intermittently. They replaced pads, resurfaced rotors all around and replaced one caliper$$$. The brakes were still failing. I brought it back and they said they didn’t know what was wrong. I took it to the GMC dealership and they said the brake lines had air in it and bled and flush the lines. They said it didnt look like it was done. I asked it that’s part of a break job and they said yes. So I was charged over $200 to have what should have been done already by someone else plus time loss at work for 2-3 afternoons. When I called the manager at Firestone he would not acknowledge the mistake or even apologize whatsoever or even try to offer a deal. I told him I have moved on and got another vehicle but if he could make things right and offer a price break on some tires for my new vehicle I bought that needed replacing that would be great. He couldn’t even do that. He gave me market prices after I lost $200+ plus and sitting for 3 separate afternoons waiting to fix the same problem of time lost. Looking at all these other reviews it seems I’m not alone in really bad service. The sad thing is I gave the mgr there a chance to make it right plus I was ready to pay for all new tires for my wife’s car also but they let pride rule the day. It’s a shame."
"Unhappy with knowledge and service would be a HUGE understatement with this business. I sent my woman here since she had originally purchased all of her tires and had their so-called "warranty." She came in to get a replacement on one of her front tires that had a large lag bolt lodged near the sidewall of the tire. For those who dont know, anything close to the sidewall should NOT be patched or repaired for safety reasons. Of course, the tire she needed was not available. Not a deal breaker by any means since they can't stock every brand/size tire. They did, however, offer a USED tire instead, which was shady in itself, in my opinion. A new tire should have been installed regardless especially with the warranty. I spoke with the the "service manager" named Rueben and had asked him to take a tire tread depth measurement on all the tires to see if it was going to be better to replace all four if it was getting close to time. To make matters worse, his response was, "We don't have any tread depth guages in the store. I have been doing tires for years and just use my finger to test depth." No simple equipment in the store?! Thats like going into KFC and them not having breading! They sent my woman away on a tire that was not safe at all to be driven on, and to me, knowing good business practices did not sit well with me at all. For the life of me, I don't know why anyone would even give them any business."
"Was in town briefly lto look at a vehicle that was for sale and noticed a nail in my tire while eating lunch. I thought I was in luck when I saw this Firestone across the street so I popped in to see if I could get it fixed before driving the 50 mile trip back home. Three hours or I could drop the car off and come back at closing. I explained the situation to no avail and was informed it was the best they could do since I didn't have an appointment... like I was supposed to have known I was going to pick up a nail in my tire during the brief visit. I completely understand that other customers were ahead of me having tires installed and/or other maintenance work done, but to put someone in somewhat of a tight spot off for three hours because they didn't know ahead of time that they were going to pick up a nail in their tire, is ridiculous. Anyway, we left and went to an independent tire shop not far down the road that had us fixed up on the way in about 20 minutes... and yes, they had other customers ahead of us too, and we didn't have an appointment with them either. Someone needs to explain the concept of customer service to the crew at Firestone in Springfield TN... because they seem to be a little lacking in that department."
