"Walgreens. There when you need it! Today, we actually had a nice checker person/lady. Her name is Patty!! I wanted to say thank you! You were very pleasant to us. Thank you!"
"I had a prescription sent over here for the 1st time. Waited over 30 minutes to get my sons medicine. When I get home the bag the medicine is in says my sons name so I take it out put it on the counter. Come the next day I’m going to give him, his medicine and the bottle has a prescription for an adult - to treat epilepsy and anxiety(NOT RECOMMENDED FOR AGES UNDER THREE). HES A 2 YEAR OLD! I called the pharmacy- a tech named Christine answers and acts like it’s no big deal and to come in and they will fix it. I asked to have it be filled anywhere else or a different Walgreens and she says she can’t, she needs me to come in person. Super rude and no concern. We hung up and called back to speak to someone else named Micheal- a tech. We asked for the pharmacist and was told they won’t be in tomorrow. And gave us the name Rosina. We hung up again- come to find out by law there has to be a pharmacist on duty. Absolutely no concern wrong medicine was given out. And either lied about the pharmacist being there or are filling prescriptions without a pharmacist present. DO NOT FILL YOUR MEDICINE HERE- we are lucky we didn’t give it to him and looked at the bottle. Obviously I crossed out addresses and names for privacy- I hope the adult Roberts- actually got the medicine for her epilepsy and anxiety because a baby steroid won’t help that"
"If you don't want to get robbed, never ever go to Walgreens. I paid $20 to get the testing done for Covid/ Flu. They sent you the results back by email, which is very convenient since you don't need to go back to get it. But the part that they don't tell you is that if you get positive, you need to pay either $33 for an online chat or $45 for a video call to determine if you need any prescription. Save your money. Go to an urgent care or family doctor facility, pay your copay, which in most cases is no more than $20, and you can get tested and prescribed on a single visit. Walgreens doesn't care about your health. You are a way for them to get easy money playing with people's health."
"If I could give all Walgreens a 0 star rating I would. I should not have to wait forever in a line to be told I need to wait inside because it will be another 20 minute wait. This happened to me when I was getting a simple refill on birth control. I came in one day asked for the pill that should have been ready. They said it was going to be a 20 minute wait so I told them I’ll come tomorrow. Somehow that translated to them as “transfer it to a different location”. So after a long day of work I drive over there and wait in the long line just for them to tell me that they don’t have my pills. I told them they said they would have them ready for me but apparently because it was a uncommon type of pill they didn’t have it but wouldn’t that mean they should have it if I called it in? Apparently not. So since I need my pill I say I’ll just pick it up at the other location a 30 minute drive away which they said it was ready at. As soon as I got there there was a line I had to wait in just for them to tell me they didn’t have the pill and that it will be ready the next day in the afternoon. Like what? The inaccuracy that is happening here is unacceptable and the fact they send pills to another location without consent is also ridiculous. Waisted an hour of my time in 100+ degree heat."
"This Walgreens pharmacy is always slow and incredibly understaffed. Some of the staff is always kind, whereas some act as if your presence is inconvenient to them. On multiple occasions I have pulled up to the pharmacy window and was then ignored for 5 or more minutes. I have also waited in line for 20+ minutes, only to pull up to the window to be ignored for several more minutes. Some of the staff is incredibly helpful and kind! But some of the staff act like working there is punishment. If you need to have an RX filled, take 2 extra minutes and drive to the H‑E‑B pharmacy down the road. They’re amazing. Definitely room for improvement here."
