Reviews
"I love Barnes & Noble because it is a guaranteed decent bookstore in whatever city you happen to be in. My complaint is not with this store but the company’s decision to organize the bookshelves in its current maze-like fashion. I miss the days when the books were alphabetized on shelves that were simply stacked one after the other."
"What can I say? It's a Barnes & Noble. Clean, good selection, etc. One negative is that there are zero seating areas in the kids section. You definitely get the vibe they don't want you to hang around for long; which shouldn't be the vibe at a bookstore with a coffee shop inside."
"Like many a Starbucks inside the fading brick and mortar Barnes and Noble the offerings were unique (I had never seen a grilled cheese sandwich at Starbucks) but there weren’t enough tables with outlets. I went there to work and kill some time before another appointment. The tables were messy and crumb filled as the staff seemed lackluster and indifferent to the customers."
"I have not been to a Barnes & Noble in years. Can't remember how long. I pretty much thought they were out of business and I didn't know what to expect. Well, it was great! Great selection of books, ones I've never seen at other local book stores. Like university press books about the local area. Plus they have great toys, a good music selection and other odds and ends. Lots of people there too, so hopefully business is good for them"
"Warm smells of coffee and books encapsulate this location. However, if you are looking for current issues or philosophy or religion books beyond Christianity, pass on this location. There were two shelves regarding other religions, but at least four shelves dedicated to Christian Bibles. For a progressive, open-minded metro area, this location's offerings are narrow-minded."
