Reviews of Dollar Tree
"It’s refreshing to see a clean Dollar Tree with a pleasant smell. Everything was neat and fully stocked. Ian was at the register at the time of my visit and my goodness, his customer service was impeccable. Genuine, sweet and authentic. Ian, thank you!"
"Worked there as an Assistant Manager i was making $8.65 an hour from November 2015 to February of 2016. Great store. I appreciate the opportunity and had a great experience"
"It was my number one go-to store for perfectly usable products at great prices back in the days when I lived in an apartment close to the 1960 and Jones Rd area. It was a great place to buy cheap snacks (for home/work), gift wrapping stuff, and those cool little painted knickknacks for my plants and patio (just make sure to keep them out of the sun so the paint won't fade, and applying clear coating would make them last much longer)."
"You know after going here for 50 plus times, I'm finally fed up enough to write a review. It's so exhausting trying to be nice to rude people! The old lady up front at the cashier everyday can be so grumpy and condescending for no reason! If she's having a good day, she will greet you back or maybe smile. If she's having a bad day, she'll make it a point to let you know. Or maybe she's just racist to asians, who knows in this day and age... To share my personal experience here: my finance and I have been purchasing our DIY wedding items from here, and sometimes we purchase more than we need or the wrong item then need to exchange. This has happened only two times out of 50+ times my finance and I have been there...YET both times, she literally treats you like a thief. Talks down to you as if you're poor and stupid (maybe bc I go in my loungewear?) First time I asked how to return an item she exclaimed "Uh no we don't do that! Go get the item you want first and you have to get back in line bc we can only exchange." Um okay rude but no problem it's the freaking dollar store...found other 4-5 items to buy - exchange 1 done. Second time, today, I go immediately to grab the items to buy/exchange with (because she was rude about it before)...but then when I get in line? Guess what, she's in a condescending mood. She literally doesn't even greet me back but says says "what is this" (referring to the bag with the exchange item) and proceeds to explain how I would need to bring the exchange bag to the employees first. EVEN THO LAST TIME SHE MADE ME GO GET THE OTHER ITEMS FIRST, HOW CONFUSING. Without even opening the bag to even check she starts to say, "we only exchange if the items have tags on it with receipts...oh" (like why would someone even bring anything back without tags or receipts???) When I apologized for going straight to grab the items and explained what I was told on my exchange....she claimed that the only reason why she told me to take the bag last time is because it would get lost or stolen if left up front with employees (what????) And goes on to explain that the reason why she has this attitude is because "LOTS OF PPL STEAL IN THE STORE!" So let me get this straight...she immediately judges one person to be a thief because of her personal experiences at work? That is not a way to treat customers who have been nothing but kind to you. At the end of it, I could only say "it seems like you don't like exchanges but thank you" and I walked out. I wish I could've said YOU NEED TO TREAT OTHERS AS HOW YOU WOULD WANT YOUR OWN DAUGHTER/SON TO BE TREATED! What goes around comes around lady."
"I went here to pick up some bags to put business cards and some candies in. The sweet lady working the cash register left and walked me to the are to find them. About 30 seconds later another employee came over and showed me where the non seasonal ones were located!! That was very nice of them to go out if their way to help me! A++++"
