Stripes Convenience Store

"Stripes stores have become terrible with their tacos I just spent 8 bucks on 2 tacos that's all egg and no extra bacon as I asked for.. and the taco was sooo thin half scoop. It was like I ate a bean taco only. Stripes is taking advantage of people now!"

"This was and is the first and last Stripes Convenience Store I've ever been at, and I would have to say that it is by far the best one in the history of mankind. I was doing a survey at the location not too long ago, and I was passing by maybe the most beautiful painting I have ever seen, which reminded me of this store. I had to come back and review it, the staff there is above and beyond the Call of Duty. If I was in a platoon full of soldiers that I knew I would never get to see ever again, I would get every single last one of the staff there in my platoon. I trust them with my country as well as my life. The food there might be a little difficult to order as I didn't exactly know how the process was, but the selection is just spectacular. The food there reminds me of the foods back home, tacos and burritos just like Mom used to make. All in all, if I can give this store two thumbs-up I would find several people so that I can give it several thumbs up at the same time. Do yourself a favor and make this the one Pit Stop you'll never forget, just like me."

"Today the girl in charge with blue shirt who was not having her name on the shirt was serving, she poured half cup of the size into the taco, I told her it was too few normally they serve it complete!! She said the size is one cup , I said yes but full not half she said nothing. When I was about to pay another client made a complain also and they did get the taco changed , the difference is that they spoke English and I Spanish !! That is Racist!!!!!!!"

"This review pertains only to their food service. I went here once to order something for lunch. I get there and I see a sign for 'shrimp quesadilla'. It looked good, so I went ahead and ordered it. The lady looked at me like I had three heads. She then either grunted or spoke a foreign language at me (I'm not sure which). I just stared at her, and she decided to get her co-worker to take my order. I then again stated I wanted to order the shrimp quesadilla. This lady said "...a burrito or taco?". At this point I just gave up on trying to order exactly what I wanted and said "burrito". Clearly these were the two biggest idiots on planet Earth. I ended up with a burrito filled with a mixture of shrimp and vegetables. It was ok-ish, but not really what I had wanted. Stripes needs to do more to train their staff at this store, and maybe hire people who have half a brain. But, at least their cashier was competent. He had apologized to me on behalf of the food prep ladies who were utterly clueless. I hate to leave bad reviews, but this was just plain unacceptable."

"This has got to be one of the quicker stripes for tacos period. This stripes always gives excellent service. I have never had a bad experience here. I always recommend this location to friends. Because the ones in edinburg and the surrounding cities just are not as good as this one."
