"Great skyline views from the park. If you don't mind the mud you can get by the river level and take cool pics."
"Beautiful Spot to take pics, read books and enjoy the scenic view. Paradise for bird lovers, just sit and spot variety of birds."
"Nice place to sit and enjoy the view. Went there on a sunny but chilly weekday afternoon, it was pretty empty. Saw a bunch of birds, turtles and fishes. The parking spots closest were shut (Dec 2024) there was a ~15-20 min walk"
"Amazing spot which has to be experienced by actually being there! It gives you an amazing sight and on a perfectly clear sky day the view looks amazing with the floating clouds, the tall buildings, Clear blue sky, the reflection from the water is just perfect! It’s easy to reach the spot and they have seating areas all around the place. If you come to Zilker Park don’t miss this gem. It may get crowded depending upon the time or day you visit. It connects to trails which you can cycle or walk along! Tons of people go kayaking from here and there are many walkers, runners and cyclists who go along the trail that connects to this point."
"We stumbled upon this park and we were stunned. It is very pleasant and Lou Neff Point was beautiful! The gazebo was stunning. We took photos with the Austin skyline behind us. We walked down the path along the river, along the banks of the river and discover a couple turtles. As we watched, the turtles keep swimming up. There were easily 30 turtles, with more coming as we left. Highly recommend to tourists and to natives who haven't been."
