"So your not going to believe what these clowns did to me. I have a learning disability and I have two plates in my brain from being hit with a metal bat playing baseball. I have been taking my medication for years and the pharmist decided to behind my back call the cops and tell them I think he has a fake prescription. I was walking around CVS when 4 cops surrounded me tackled me arrested me on suspicion of having a fake prescription. I was terrified in shock brought into a cold cell for 6 hours. I was harassed accused by the Elmhurst police for hours. We know you use your own computer. I told them to call my doctor but it was 2am. I was called a drug addict told I need help. All I wanted to do is my usual shopping and pickup my prescription. While I was at Elmhurst police station they towed my car had to pay 500 plus 300 to the tow company. I told CVS I am not going to sue u just want my tow money back. It's been 3 months and no money back no one from corporate got back to me. It's a true horror story why you should be very careful at that store. They need to fix what's broken and treat people without making a bad decision that made them look so bad. I think no one should have gone through the hell they put me through."
"Since CVS closed a lot of locations there have been so many issues with getting prescriptions delivered it's not even funny. Crazy thing is, even though we have the right address listed in their database, they've sent our medication to the wrong house, twice - two separate houses on two separate occasions. What's up with that?"
"I was in need of service and decided that instead of using an immediate care, which my doctors recommend, I would chose CVS. At first the process seemed easy enough. Enter my symptoms, sore throat, and clogged ear, appointment time, and other information. Arrive at the scheduled time and go to the Minute Clinic area. Wait until I'm called in for a breif check in. I provid my past health history, then I was given a standard vitals exam, then given a strep test. I was then asked to wait until the RN was ready. Once I was called into the exam room I let her know what my concerns were. After a bit of talk she took a ear, nose, and throat scope, and briefly examined the effected areas. After learning my strep test was negative she provided little information to any other causes to my sore throat, nor did she do any other examination of the area. Then seeing my ear, she advised it needed to be cleaned, and she could assist. We started to talk and she then learned that I had had 2 major surgeries, and was on immunosuppressive medication. She proceeded to let me know, "sorry" we can't do that now because of the immunosuppressive meds. Once this was all wrapped up, with absolutely none of my symptoms resolved, and absolutely NO help from this RN, YOU charge me $100?!?! CVS should NOT advertise itself as a "CLINIC". There was obviously no review of my history by the RN, or she may have seen my medical past, and NOT offered to help with my ear. She could have gone further to look at my throat, or possibly recommend an over the counter relief solution, instead leaving me just like I came in, minus $100.00. This experience has caused more stress over this unexpected, and disappointing let down, all for an excessive charge, and for what? NOTHING. CVS? STAY AWAY!"
"I wish I saw these reviews before I visited the minute clinic. I felt heavily uncomfortable by the staff. They were rude and inconsiderate of my needs. They were short and impatient in communication. Terrible customer service and a terrible experience. Next time I’ll go to Walgreens."
