"I come to this location mostly to pick up prescriptions and then occasionally gift cards and birthday cards. The pharm techs could be a lot more attentive, not sure why they move so slow like a sloth. The cashier in the regular store is usually pretty good and helpful. They keep the store well stocked in the morning. Parking can be difficult depending on if you’re trying to turn left or right. I’m not sure why Main St has so many cars going through it."
"10/24/23 This has been going on for ages. Today I got a message about a prescription being denied when I know it has a year of approval. I called to find out the problem. A code changed, I need to call insurance. I say, 'Okay, thanks." And then I get hung up on. I'm trying to call insurance and the phone rings. It's CVS. They hang up when I answer. I try calling insurance again and again, CVS calls. This time, I tell them I have insurance on the other line. "Well you don't have to get mad." I say, "I'm not mad, I just got hung up on repeatedly and I have insurance on the other line." No matter what you sayor don't say, they will call you rude and hang up. It's like being in an abusive relationship with a gaslighter with no way out. There is no winning. If I had other options, I'd use them. The manager thinks that if you complain about the bad service, it's a problem with you, not them. Nevermind that most people are just afraid to give medical providers bad reviews because of the way it affects care. The manager fully supports the staff treating customers like trash, hanging up on them, and running people in circles for answers. Once you complain about an employee hanging up on you, all of your prescriptions will go on backorder and you'll never know if/ when they come in. Whatever the reason, all of my medication, from cancer to immune to pain control, have been on backorder."
"My husband went to the Darien, IL CVS Pharmacy to pick up prescriptions and get a flu shot. There were no other customers except him. There were 3 pharmacists behind the counter. When he asked for a flu shot, he was told, “NO; you must make an appointment ON-LINE; then return at your appointment time.” Remember, there were NO customers except for him. He is older than 75; we live a 20-minute drive away. How rude of CVS to treat an elderly customer of more than a decade this way! This is totally UNACCEPTABLE!"
"PEOPLE OF COLOR STAY AWAY!!!! CVS YOU ALLOW THIS? PUT TO THE BACK OF THE LINE REFUSED SERVICING ME PUBLIC YELLING AT ME CALLING ME A LIAR RACIAL PROFILING FROM THE WOMAN IN CHARGE PHARMACIST AMANDA KOJDA So I'm in the drive thru, there's about four cars in front of me. After about 20 minutes, I finally reach 1 of the 2 terminals but it's still not my turn because there's only one employee and that car drives away, I wait patiently for the pharmacist to come on the intercom but instead takes the next car that pulls up. I hit the call button and all I hear being shouted from the window is "I'm not gonna' service you! You cut the line! I saw you on camera!" My initial reaction was disbelief because I've just been in my car listening to Bob Marley. Still puzzled I wait there still while she tends to the other driver. That car then pulls away and another comes in and then services them. Embarrassed, insulted, and still blown away, I pull out and enter the pharmacy. Honestly I'm just looking for an apology, but nope the pharmacist still insists I cut the line and she has footage. I asked her twice to pull it up, and yet she refused. She then says she asked the first car that was being service parallel to me if I had cut her and that's how she knew I cut the line. SO WHICH IS IT? THE CAMERA OR THE OTHER DRIVER? SHE then starts to RAISE her voice and begins to almost yell I'M THE ONE ASKING "Why are you raising your voice? Nobody is yelling at you?" I DRIVE FOR A LIVING (7 YEARS EXPERIENCE) I'm pretty sure I follow traffic laws and value the importance of maintaining a line (especially in traffic) WHY WOULD I CUT IN LINE? The only reasoning behind me cutting the line that you displayed was because I was in a rush. IF I WAS IN A RUSH WHY WOULD COME IN HERE AND ASK FOR AN APOLOGY. I don't normally assume the worst out of people but I would like it to be known that every other single person being tended to in the store and out (drive thru) was white. Then there's me; a dark skinned individual. I'M CERTAIN THIS WAS AN ACT OF RACISM & RACIAL PROFILING I reached out to CVS feedback and all I got was an automated response not even a phone call. SO CVS YOU ALLOW THIS TYPE OF BEHAVIOR? NOT A SINGLE OF REASON WHY BEHIND THIS BEHAVIOR IS ACCEPTABLE SHE HAD NO REAL REASONING BEHIND HER MOTIVES DEFINITION Maybe just a dark skinned man and just assumed I cut the line."
"Nice pharmacy with good customer service. They are always eager to provide help."
