"This is a great Thorntons. The convenience mart is clean and well-stocked with lots of snacks (both hot & cold). The drink fridge is HUGE and packed with pop, energy drinks and juice. Gas pumps are fast and prices are generally fair. Employees are friendly. Bit tricky to get to unless you're heading south on Weber Rd."

"1/17/24 air pump for vehicle tires is broken. Denied a refund for faulty service. ALL u.s gas stations have the ability to turn on air/vacuum without charge as per regulation, wasn't even offered this service after repair. Most gas station clerks will flip the switch if you just ask even without previous purchase since they don't care/can't be bothered. This clerk didn't even consider it (or they could have saved the money and chosen not to install a legally necessary regulation system) in which case IDOT would love to know about."

"Looks like they installed a little doohickey on the pump handle that keeps you from pumping the exact dollar amount you want in your tank. I like nice round amounts and be able to put in $30 instead of 30 whatever because the little lock keeps you from adding a penny at a time so screw this place, won't be going back"

"Key pads are absolutely disgusting. They Charge 5.50 a gallon for 92 octane. Do yourself a favour and go to shell across the street pay less for 93."

"If you're looking for a gas station with a friendly and attentive staff, look no further than Thornton Gas Station! Every time I visit, I'm greeted by a team of amazing individuals who make the experience truly enjoyable. Rachel and Joann are exceptional managers who always make time for each customer, no matter how busy they are. Their friendly approach extends to the entire team, creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere throughout the store. Jojo and Chris are a dynamic duo in the kitchen, keeping the hot food area fully stocked at all times. I've visited the store at various times of the day and never seen empty shelves. They always make sure to give each customer their undivided attention, even during busy periods. Rose, Alejandra, and Jeremy are all equally amazing in their own right. Rose is engaging and always makes me feel welcome, while Alejandra's cheerful mood is infectious. Jeremy is laser-focused on food prep tasks, yet still manages to give each customer his undivided attention. Josh is another standout employee, always thoughtful and engaging to talk to. And of course, Darrick and Dave play major roles in keeping the store in excellent condition. Their attention to detail is evident at every turn. Overall, I can't recommend Thornton Gas Station highly enough. With its friendly and attentive staff, clean and well-stocked store, and amazing hot food options, it's my go-to spot for all my gas and snack needs."
