Reviews of Cypress Creek Nature Preserve
"Cypress Creek Nature Preserve is a beautiful preserve nestled behind the different shops in downtown Wimberley. There are a few picnic tables to sit at and enjoy your breakfast, lunch or dinner. The creek is crystal clear however there are signs warning of possible bacteria in the water at certain times. There is the nature preserved area which we didn't go into but it looked very nice from where were standing."
"Super cool trail to visit and explore while on restaurant waiting list. I would recommend checking it out. Love the huge trees and the relaxing calm energy walking on the trail."
"beautiful space with lots of large cypress trees and creek. there are some impressive sculptures carved into some of the trees. i visited during a cold rainy day and it was empty and so serene. there is an attached walking trail and the area sits behind the Wimberley Square with lots of shops, coffee places, and restaurants."
"Nice walking trails that connect with the Blue Hole park so we were able to get a good amount of walking in, grab lunch creekside, and walk back. Lots of the trails are shaded and it's so pretty with the Cypress trees overlooking the water."
"Great break from shopping! Very relaxing hike with beautiful scenery. Swimming permitted but no lifeguard on duty. Very large bald cypress trees with so much character! Smooth trail overall, but be cautious of exposed roots that could cause you to trip."
