About Us
The Lakewood Skatepark in Leander, Texas is a newly opened park located at 1100 Halsey Drive. This park is the second public skatepark within the city and offers a lower level, technical plaza/street style park for skaters to enjoy. With features such as flat rails, ledges, stairs, and more, skaters can create long lines and combo tricks in this peaceful, natural setting surrounded by mature trees. The skatepark is just one of many amenities within the 125-acre Lakewood Park, which also includes a recreation lawn, dog park, fishing pier, walking trails, pavilions, and more. The park was funded through various sources and grants, making it a valuable addition to the growing city of Leander.
