Delta Lake

"We stumbled upon this place on our way back from a restaurant. We thought it is a nice day so we should eat outdoors. We saw the picnic benches and stopped here. It was such a lovely day to eat here next to a quiet pond. The leaves were rustling gently while the water made a rippling noise. We enjoyed every bit of the park. It maybe boring to some but it is hard to find a nice natural place like this in the city any more. Moreover it was not crowded. Park needs to be maintained and taken care off. The benches need some cleaning and painting. There are bottles laying here and there which needs to be cleaned too. People are so irresponsible they leave thier food wrappers and packets here. Please come if you can. They have good parking."

"Updates as on early Nov 2023: Sadly the lake has started to dry off due to drought like conditions with lesser rainfalls and extreme heat this summer. Even some of the old trash has started to surface out now. Hope to get some good rains in near future. Old review: Serene beauty... lake shows amazing reflections especially at the Sunrise and sunsets! Early morning sunshine sparkles on the water as if millions of crystals & pearls simmering on it... The calm waters in the evenings reflect the sky canvas perfectly at the sunset (for best view, you need to be on east side of the lake in evening)"

"Nothing much to see here. Quiet little pond with trash and beer bottles. Not much signs of fish activity. Saw a small dead gar once. You can hear gunshots from the nearby range while you fish here. Prob better off going to the range."
