Reviews of Bane Park
"This is a great park with a nice playground for the big kids and the littles. The pond was great too! My son was obsessed with the ducks!"
"We LOVE Bane park. It has 2 different playgrounds, one for small kids and one for big kids. You can walk around the pond that you can fish at. There are always ducks and turtles and our favorite thing is going in the spring and seeing all the babies. The ball parks are open as long as there aren't games going on. We have taken our dog with us and taken him off the leash in one because the park workers told us we could. There is a bathroom which is a must when you have kids. Also, for pokemon go players there are 2 gyms and tons of pokestops and several routes. We go all the time. There is also a library in the corner of the parking lot. There is a sand volleyball court and a Pavillion with grills nearby. This park has everything. Even the parking lot is huge. Very well maintained."
"This is not a well know park but it is beautiful!! It is not in the best neighborhood but once you find this hidden gem, it is worth coming over and over. It is never over-crowded like other Houston parks. They have a volleyball net here. I saw some interesting animals here that I first thought were beavers but I think they are muskrat or something else. They were nesting near a tree."
"It's an older park, but it's a good place to spend time by yourself or with others. Big enough areas for catch and release fishing. Baby, kid, and couples swings available, There are plenty of shaded areas with various picnic tables and benches. Paved walking paths and a short wooded trail off to the side. You'll find ducks, nutra rats, sand volleyball court, and playgrounds for kids and toddlers. I wish this place had food trucks with snacks or ice cream available."
"A well used park with a couple of small lakes where you can fish catch and release with a leave trail around the lake, benches and picnic tables. There is a baseball field, a playground with older equipment which is still in good repair. The lake has ducks on it and coypus swimming near the shore. Thankfully the park has a fairly large car park and a public restroom."
