Reviews of Brazos Bend State Park Hale Lake Day Use Area
"We enjoyed our first visit to this park. We could see alligators basking in the sun on the side of lake, another small one on a trail, and birds. It was amazing to see nature so well preserved. All the staff right from the entry point and at the nature center were very friendly and provided necessary information. The lake is a major attraction and is full of lily flowers. Though it is pretty with so many leaves and flowers, it looks like they are overgrown to completely cover the water. Not sure if it will be cleared later. Otherwise, it is a good park, especially to see alligators in their natural habitat."
"It has a fishing pier"
