Reviews
"Beautiful and peaceful, a lovely place to go for a short walk and take pictures while enjoying a variety of bird life. There is limited, unofficial parking to the side of the road, so I usually don't stay more than an hour, but definitely worth a visit."
"Parking is right on division street. The trail is okay. Natural surface."
"Wonderful place next to the Des Plaines River. It was stunning when I was last there. I bet it's incredible in the spring."
"A small prairie. There's one trail that leads to the DesPlaines River. One could almost believe they're in actual wilderness if it wasn't for the constant truck and car noise from the roads around the place, and what sounded like constant gunshots in the distance during my visit. There's also an old bridge that has been closed with ugly signs. The hike is a short, and sweet one."
"Wanted to go further off the path but it was starting to get late. No parking lot that I saw but was a neat little find. Plenty of plants, water, and an interesting closed bridge. Shall definitely check the place out again and see what more there is to explore!"
