"Great campgrounds with acceptable portapotty. Close enough to amenities in town but private enough to relax and enjoy nature. Our site had a fire pit and picnic table, and the 7 of us had a lovely weekend. It looks like a large grounds with sites in the woods or along the river. Candy was a great host and recommended we drive up river with our own tubes and float back to camp which was the right move. They had a wonderful 4th of July fireworks and bonfire celebration to cap the night. Highly recommended as this is such an easy drive from Chicago & suburbs."
