About the Dinosaur Valley State Park Store
The Dinosaur Valley State Park Store is located at 1629 Park Road 59 in Glen Rose, Texas, United States. This store offers a variety of souvenirs, camping and fishing supplies, books, and much more for visitors to take home as mementos of their trip to the park.
Visitors to the park can explore the ancient dinosaur tracks left in the mud at the edge of an ancient ocean, walk along the Paluxy River, camp, picnic, hike, mountain bike, swim, fish, paddle in the river, watch for wildlife, geocache, ride horses, or visit the interpretive center. The park also offers 20 miles of trails for visitors to explore.
For those who bring their own horses, there is a 100-acre South Primitive Area where horses can roam freely. The park does not have potable water in this area, so horses can drink from the river.
The park also offers ranger programs, workshops on various skills such as archery, fishing, and geocaching, and the opportunity to join or donate to the Friends of Dinosaur Valley State Park.
Due to high visitation rates, reservations are highly recommended for both camping and day use. Visitors can reserve passes online or by calling the customer service center before their visit.
The park complies with Federal civil rights laws and is committed to providing its programs and services without discrimination. Visitors are encouraged to report any violations to Operation Game Thief.

Reviews of Dinosaur Valley State Park Store
"The store is cute, has a ton of fun T-shirts and merch (especially in recent years as interest in the footprints has increased) and there are restrooms nearby. Definitely stop here after your camping or hiking trip. Edit: note that the photos you occasionally see of Dinosaur World in peoples' reviews are not in fact part of the state park (or their store), those are further down the road."
"Beautiful colored leaves on trails! Exciting that new tracks have been found! No trails to any of the new ones yet new map gives direction - so it makes you want to explore- with no avail."
"Nice park. For equestrians it's does not have many miles for riding but it's good to get them out. You can ride to the river which is nice."
"Lots of miles for exploring and hiking, some areas might be closed but you'll still have a good time."
"Great walk not for the walking impaired. Pea-Body loved Blue Hole, green loved where dinosaur and humans lived together."
