"Amazing horse trails!"
"Beautiful scenery, kid friendly, and there's a decent size pond you are allowed to fish at. Also plenty of paths throughout the area."
"The conservation district has always been a great place of peace. I really enjoy the scenery and the amazing colors in the fall. We never have very good luck fishing here. The trails are well kept and the pavilion is great for parties."
"This is a nice park. The park is open sunrise til sunset. There is a fishing pond, hiking trails, horse trails, campground, field areas for frisbee or sports. The campground is primitive with pit toilets, and isn't staffed, so look at the countys website to reserve camping. Much of the area, including the campground, is forest with very old oak trees. I've seen fox, deer, snakes, turtles, turkeys, hawks, and many other species."
"This was a beautiful, accessible park for our family to get out to and get some fresh air and movement!! We enjoyed the clearly marked path through the forest area and appreciated having the option on a windy day to take either the path around the lake or the path through the wooded area to block some of the wind. Despite the path being a little slick due to the snow overtop the ground, we all had a great walk and are definitely planning to go back in the warmer months! Oh! And we loved the little creeks running throughout the path with small wooden bridges to cross them. So much fun to explore!"
