"Lots of fun here even for kids. If catfish is your game then this is the place for you. Very clean place. I wouldn’t eat anything that comes out of the water but fun to fish. The Conservation Officers do make regular check ins with everyone so make sure you are legit to fish there. The officers are friendly and helpful. They have offered lots of advice for fishing there"
"Definitely one of the best cooling lakes in Illinois... if you can get past hiking. You can Target multiple species depending on where you start. Between the hot and the cold side, gravel or Sandy Bottom, drop-offs deep holes and flats excellent fishing from a boat and great fishing from Shore."
