"I AM AMAZED! Mr. Virgil was very professional and extremely knowledgeable! I called this afternoon. Advised I had a plumbing problem and had already called my plumber and rented a long 100 ft pipe to make sure my pipes were not clogged. No questions asked, the secretary says I will send someone over in 30-40 minutes. They arrived in about 15-20. Mr. Virgil and his partner arrived, inspected some manholes, asked a couple of questions. He was very clear on the possible outcomes. He advised the city will handle any problem on their pipes, but not on the owners. He also explained that they would clear out pipes at a cost, which is paid in person at the water department. Commercial price $225, Residential $50 .He proceeded to check the city pipes, and within 10 minutes, backup arrived (no pun intended) .He called his pipe clearing machine! Explains its like a super pressure washer that disintegrates anything in its path. 2 minutes later, my bathroom pipes are clear an running. All within a 30 minute time frame. Thank you so much for your quick and professional help!!! Mr. Virgil, Garza, and another gentleman was here, I did not catch his name. Way to go City of Donna! I WAS IMPRESSED!"
"Rude staff, don’t care about their community. When you call they make it seem as if you’re bothering them. We call about important situations and they make it seem as if they’re the ones being inconvenienced.i understand they get difficult people calling them but it’s not fair for those who are calling just to seek help."
"It's bad enough paying for Donna water. Then, having to wake up almost every other week to no water is getting out of hand. This happens way more often than it should. After hours, number NEVER works. Even during business hours, you'll be lucky to get anyone to pick up."
"Very unprofessional, baffled at the professionalism within the department. Phones are hardly ever answered, trying to do things online is the new way of things but that is not the case with this department. Some developmental training should be considered, working at a office does not make you professional, mannerism and skills do. Working for a city means you work for the people of the city, educate oneself to provide and serve your cities citizens."
"They have a drop of box outside the gate so you don't have to be in a line like this."
