"Wet and cold. It is a horse trail as well so wide and easy to follow. No bluff and cliffs on the section we hiked."
"Recommended. I did this trail with a buddy and camped overnight at the halfway point ($8, I think, but consider a donation). The scenery is great and the trail is clean and well-maintained. Blazes mark the trail well but pay attention, there are horse trails and the river-to-river trail that intersect. The folks at the welcome center are very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Expect some waterfalls and water crossings with recent rain. The elevation changes can be strenuous, so novices beware. Watch for snakes and bring bug juice. The camp is close enough to a road to cache some water and firewood."
"Amazing trail with so much to see. Camping, creeks, rivers, revenes, boulders, cliffs, caves etc.... Just so much nature. I Loved it. Its a 12 mile hike so be prepared. But there is at least 5 trails surrounding this one."
"12 mile hoop through some beautiful pastures and a few ponds on the way. We did it in an early spring day. I can imagine it being pretty awful in the fly season."
"My spouse and I explored this trail 2/2/19 had a perfect 55 degree day for a long hike in middle of winter. We really enjoyed the first half of the trail despite being so close to the main roads and crossing them 6x before we got deep in the woods. If your a sightseer and like taking photos I wouldn't recommend this trail as it only features a creek and a couple small waterfalls. Had no issues with markers like many of the other reviews. Just have to pay attention to your surroundings. We completed in just under 8hours including stops. "TRAIL LENGTH IS ACCTUALLY 12MILES""
