"Beware of the changing prices. Dropped our dog off, asked the price, and prepaid at drop off so another family member could pick the dog up without having to pay. Even left a tip before I left. Found out later they charged my family member an “extra work fee”. I was under the impression the price was set prior to, not after the dog has been groomed. Plus, the groomer didn’t trim the feet, face, or tail, so we had to do that afterwards. Won’t be going back."

"I have moved several times and taken my dog to several different groomers over the years, and I've learned that some groomers will bathe the dogs then stick them in front of a box fan to dry for hours before beginning the grooming; that is just not okay to me. That's absolutely NOT the case with Pampered Pup! Lynette is a seasoned professional who truly cares for her clients (and never forgets the loyal ones!), and takes the care to be sure your pup feels safe and looks great. My family dog went to Lynette for years, so I was excited when I heard about Pampered Pup in West Chicago for my dog. I had a few specific requests and she delivered on all of them. My dog looks great, and she clearly had a nice time with Lynette since she wasn't scared as we left, which has been the case elsewhere. Their place is also super clean and spacious, which matters when you have a bunch of animals. Highly recommend!"

"While they do a sufficient job with grooming, they are unprofessional and rude. Half the time when you pick up your dog they are not in their business even though they recently called you to pick up your pet. My doodles are very well trained, no need for a leash while on a walk and are friendly with everyone. My older dog Tansy had never been skittish going to the groomer. Second time we went she was so nervous and kept trying to run out. For owning a business whose clients are dogs they do not seem to like pets. Always trust your dogs natural instincts."
