Shady Rest

"It was a great deal! For context, we were tent camping and chose to get a site without electricity. It was a short drive from where the shower and bathroom facilities were. Those were nice and clean. There was RV camping with electrical stuff. There were tent camping options with electricity too. Our stay was $8 for our site and we were allowed to use the showers and bathrooms! On the no electricity sites there are picnic tables and grills and you’re able to just park in the grass. Staff was great too! We just happened to have noisy neighbors."

"This was one amazing campsite. The host was very friendly and the price was very reasonable. Definitely would sleep there again. Nice clean showers and bathrooms."

"Nice trees, dump station, water. Their website however is correct about the electrical system being Antiquated. The ground fault Interrupters on our space number 7 tripped as soon as I plugged my cord in. Finally got the 20 amp one to hold long enough to use it."

"Beautiful setting, friendly and helpful host. Spotless restrooms, but wasn't crazy about the constant push button for water. No Wi-Fi, but nature provides my entertainment anyway. We were passing through, so didn't check out the lake. Would definitely stay again if in the area."
