Reviews of Ogles Creek Park
"Stellar babbling brook to explore in this neighborhood park. The sounds of the stream are so peaceful. There’s plenty of space to walk around or just sit next to the stream on a rock if you like. There’s also a small pavilion with some picnic benches and 3 parking spaces."
"Tiny park in a subdivision. It has a shelter, a large open field and access to a small creek. Cute little place"
"Fun creek to splash and play in! Large rocks to sit on. We walked up and downstream a bit but didn't find anything but flowing water."
"This place is honestly a hidden gem! The parking lot isn't huge with only 1-2 spots and a handicap spot. This is a nice little spot with a field connected to pavilion with 4 large tables. If you find the hidden entrance through the "forest gate" you'll find a nice little stream with some rock brooks (be careful some rocks are very lose and slippery. Use caution walking up and down stream.) If you walk up the stream for maybe .4 miles you'll find a nice little swimming area for your furry friends and maybe yourself if you are brave. Downstream is similar to upstream without the deeper water. Over all very nice spot to be outside. *use extreme caution walking in stream with furry friends. I've seen snakes sun bathing on the rocks before. Most snakes won't harm you or your pets however should still use extreme caution.*"
"There is a covered picnic table area and a grassy area. A short path through some trees to the left takes you to Ogles Creek. The creek is lovely, fairly wide with large flat rocks to walk on. We saw freshwater clams, a hawk, tiny fish, and a water snake. There is also some garbage and construction debris in the creek. I recommend not going barefoot if you want to explore the creek. No restroom here, so plan accordingly."
