"Very well maintained Park and easy access. There's usually vacant parking."
"This park is very pretty. Great playground for kids, beautiful gazebo, lots of nice spots to fish from. Overall, very clean and nice to walk around."
"One of my favorite places because it holds a sentimental value. My husband and I first met here, had our first kiss here, we even took our wedding pictures here! We visit all the time and just enjoy the beautiful lake and the playground! I absolutely love it!"
"My son and I visited LeClaire Park on 6/14/2022. It was a typical hot and humid Midwestern day. The sun was shining brightly with nary a cloud in the sky. A steady breeze was keeping the ripples dancing on the surface of the lake. The robins and sparrows were hopping about in search of food. Many fish were gliding around the shoreline. Turtles randomly popped their heads out of the water to fill their lungs before diving back to the deepest depths. Squirrels scurried about flicking their tails in alarm. The park itself is well maintained. Although the restrooms were locked.(Not happy!!!!!) There are several play areas for kids of all ages that includes swings, slides, merry-go-round, etc. All in all its a wonderful park for the entire family."
"This was at one time one of the most beautiful and historic parks in the area. It had many mature trees, lots of ducks and wildlife that used the pond and lots of playground equipment for the kids to play on. The city cut down most of the mature old trees and turned the pond into a storm drain. They removed most of the playground, and ducks and geese don't even land in the pond anymore now that it's a storm sewer. Very sad :("
