Riverwoods Park & Trail 13998 Saint Charles Rock Road, Bridgeton, MO 63044

"The trail itself is very enjoyable to walk, specifically near the Mississippi River. I believe there are two or three overlooks to the river, with the ability to peak at historic St Charles, and the casino across the way. I dislike the part of the trail that is closer to the business side of Earth City. Completely exposed to the sun, and nothing really to look at on that side. I would avoid this trail until the bridge and rest of the trail is rebuilt, as part of the trail was damaged from recent rising of the river. Dog friendly, and the public restrooms are pretty clean."

"Surprisingly, the beautiful bridge was washed away when we got to it. You can no longer go around the loop. You can do the trail as 2 segments. We enjoyed the view of the Missouri River, of historic St. Charles on the other side, and of the historic St.Charles Rock Road that no longer crosses the river here. When I visited there were people painting on canvas under one of the small pavilions that are often used to picnic. There were also people who were dog walking and fishing. The men's and women's restrooms are clean when I have visited. The parking area has landscape plants. There is a kiosk for signage when they create some."

"The loop is incomplete due to the broken bridge. That makes you travel along the Earth City Business Park which does not smell very nice. The trail is otherwise nice, you can ride your bikes or stroller on the paved surface."

"Just walked this trail for the first time and it was awesome. Not completely flat but very small hills. Also part of the trail is in the shade which is a huge plus for me. 4 stars because the bridge is out. So u can’t walk the hole trail."

"Nice trailhead with bathroom facilities. Only negative, the bridge on the loop trail around the river was out, so it was a really short walk"
