"There is very little shade and no grass. Be mindful that the heat of the day can burn the dogs paws"
"Centrally located, clean, and new, solid fencing. But there's not much here. It's 2 small "parks" with a few picnic tables. All gravel, no grass or shade, and there were no other dogs to play with. Instead, we made a nice loop on the walking pat, and up through the little shops at Peoria Heights. A few convenient parking spaces on the street, and easy access to the main walking trail. Quiet neighborhood, and people using the trail were super friendly. Added lots of photos, because what pops up on Google Maps is the large (abandoned?) industrial property fenced in next door to these small parks."
"I have a border collie and she needs to run. There is not enough space for that to happen. Luckily I brought her to the grassy area across the bike trail so that was fine and there was shade there. It's a good park if you're looking for a small place sit down but I would not make the regular park especially if I lived over here."
"My older dog seemed to really dislike the gravel and it's pretty difficult to pick up poo without also picking up lots of gravel. Any poo that's not picked up is very apparent. I really appreciate the community members that made this park a reality, but would suggest that the gravel be replaced, possibly with mulch?"
"Small area with not a lot of shade. It's completely rock and gravel, which is okay but im sure after a while it can hurt pets feet. It's not the best dog park, but if its the only place nearby it's sufficient."
