"Every time I’ve been here has been so pleasant. The trails are kept up on very well and is usually very clean, no litter. Lots and lots of wildlife and tons of different birds to look at. I’ve been here many times from just eating some lunch with a friend, to sitting in my warm car on a cold day watching the geese and swans, to walking the paths. It’s always been a good time and I have not had any bad experiences!"

"A wonderful example of a well done reclamation project. When the city of Canton took over this property it was the remnants of an old coal mining site. It has since been converted into a very popular (and even more enjoyable) city park. There are several small lakes with boat ramps, a walking trail, multiple shelters, bicycle rentals, and a veterans memorial. Fishing is a popular attraction here, but more people (in my estimation) are just coming out for the views and/or a relaxing walk among the lakes."
