"Very nice and large park for a town the size of Yates City. There are two complete baseball/softball diamonds and an asphalt paved basketball court with four hoops. The park boasts numerous pieces of playground equipment all in good condition. There is a pavillion with a concrete floor and a small amphitheater for music and entertainment. Sitting to the side of the park is the former CB&Q Depot with accompanying Burlington Northern caboose."
