"They have a shower house here. They don't have electric for your camper though. Quite and shady camp spots. I just wish that they would do something about the ticks on both sides of the road. My granddaughter got Lyme disease during a photo shoot for her senior pictures. There was a husband and wife that had a lot of ticks on them too, just from taking a hike there, and they both got Lyme disease."

"Peaceful quiet place, has a free open clay pigeon range and equestrian riding trails."

"There are some real nice scenic drives and hiking trails. We hiked the Lincoln trail, it was wide and well kept. We also came across a nearly 200 year old cemetery. Had a hard time finding the Lincoln trail. It would be nice if there were park maps available at the main entrance"

"The Horse Park is a nice place for a ride. Easy terrain for inexperienced horse or rider. I would have given a higher rating before the changes in the park. In my opinion, the trails are way too wide and most have been closed over the years. The camping area has been screwed up and made more dangerous with the addition of the excessive concrete and structure for handicap accessible purposes. These could and should have been placed in better locations to avoid negative effects."
