"Nice lake, something for everyone, fishing, walking,dog park,play ground equipment,ect.not a huge selection of fish species,,park,(in my opinion) is frequented by a large number of people who do not know what a trash can is or looks like, other than that was a nice day we will definitely be back"
"As managed by the parks department I am extremely disappointed with the lack of enforcement of their own dog leash rules. Despite clear city ordinance stating that all dogs must be kept on a leash, I have witnessed numerous dog owners allowing their pets to run around off-leash, including large dogs. What made this even more concerning was the number of children playing in the park, who were put at risk by the dogs running around. I saw several close calls where a child could have been seriously injured by an uncontrolled dog. It's unacceptable that this parks department is not taking the safety of children seriously by failing to enforce their own rules. I strongly advise parents to avoid this park until the department takes action to ensure that all dogs are kept on a leash at all times. Sec. 15-11. - Animals on leash. It shall be unlawful for any privately owned animal to run at large in a city park. Every such animal shall be deemed as running at large, unless the owner carries such animal or leads it by a leash or chain not exceeding six (6) feet in length"
"This is a fantastic park for families to have get togethers and family reunions. The playground equipment is all fairly new, and it is safe for children to play on. My grandchildren and my niece and nephew love coming here! They have so much fun. The grounds are kept clean and well maintained. Also, they have great bathrooms, so you don't have to run to the gas station or somewhere."
"Made a quick stop during a road trip to stretch the legs and experience a new course. Only played the front 9 and only the short baskets were in. The course was well groomed, clean and the tee pads were in great shape. Not particularly challenging, but that isn't a bad thing! Signage could use updating. If im road tripping by here again I wouldn't hesitate stopping by to try the back 9."
"It was a large well taken care of park. My family and I enjoyed a beautiful few hours here. There was a disc golf course, a few pavilions, jungle gyms for children, a beautiful little lake, and a paved walking path around it."
