"Decent view of the river & dam below, and you can see the Starved Rock Overlook across the entrance to French Canyon directly to the west. Not a terrible hike from the visitor's center; we did about 3 miles to hit French and Wildcat Canyons and the overlooks in about 1 1/2 hours."
