Wiggley Field Peru, IL 61354

"Great name for a dog park. Unfortunately, that's the only great thing about it. Poop everywhere. Trash strewn around. Badly in need of mowing (not just ticks and critters, but see above, about poop everywhere). And when we arrived, two of the three entrances were wide open. But because of the distance and angles, that wasn't apparent until we got in—and I had to scramble to make sure I didn't lose my dog out one of the wide-open gates that the previous owners didn't care enough about others to close. Don't bother."

"Came out today with my pup and overall its an ok spot. Its about 3:15pm on Sunday no one was here. The park is a good size so there is space to run but there not to much for pups to play with if there alone. The water fountain was working and there's a few bowls if you need one to use while your here. There are a few old toys but there pretty old and used. The fence has 2 weak points that i noticed which should be secured and they could update the little bit of play equipment here because their old. It would be nice if they added more shaded seating and areas since theres no trees . Over all its a decent place for pups to get to run off leash"

"This dog park is too small for the number of folks that have dogs in this community, especially considering that the city of Peru does not allow dogs in any of their other parks. There are a couple of older agility features at this dog park, but they are in need of maintenance. There is no water source here. There is also no shade, so when it is hot, it is very hot. Plenty of parking available."

"Lots of room for dogs to socialize and run! No aggressive dogs allowed so makes for a pleasant experience for owner and best friend. Bathrooms located next to field and a dog water fountain if your pup gets thirsty during play, located inside Wiggley field."
