"Quiet a bit of traffic past midnight but still enjoyed our time camping there"
"Great place to have a fire and camp out. It has a beautiful hidden away bridge which overlooks the canal. It's a great place to kick it and hang a hammock."
"You got a day or two! Well here at Hennipen lock 17, you can go on a walk or a bike ride along the tow path which goes all the way to Rock Island. If not you can grab your fishing pole and throw a line in for some catfish, bass and bluegills. Which are abundant around the locks edges. Need a place to stay over night? Well they have plenty of camp sites for tents. Also has a number of grill for cooking out on any holiday or weekend. The lock can be dangerous, so you might want to keep and eye out if you have children. There are no railings along the edge if the locks."
