"I enjoy this area right on the river there's a walking path, a boat dock, plenty of space for activities. Good safe place to meet with family and friends. Public restroom is available as well. I see potential for future development here for various projects and usecases for our community."
"Stayed the night here and got woke up at 3:30 am by police telling me that it's not an overnight place. No signs were posted as such that I saw but it was a beautiful place to have a picnic and go fishing. Small bathrooms that may not have been open because of Covid19."
"Needed somewhere to go for a " quiet place ".....I certainly picked the right place. Folks were fishing, others putting in/ out watercraft, some just sitting on picnic tables to visit.......there was a gazebo and a big lawn swing that looked very inviting. With Rock River right there and the 74 bridge to RT 6 and I-280......there were things to see, tho I was there for the calmness of the moving water.....it had a very calming effect which I needed that particular day. Will be returning soon with a picnic and a friend ....."
