"Peaceful place until the filthy people who give bad reviews because they don't clean up after their selves and clog the toilets with God knows what show up for a weekend and spend 3 hours putting on make up to camp!"

"River Road Camping and Marina is a small, family owned Seasonal and short term camp ground. Many of the plots are occupied seasonally by repeat customers while still accommodating a range from short term tent to even class A rv camping. Feel free to bring your boat as River Road Campground also has a small boat launch. River Road maintains a lovely welcoming and fun environment, inexpensive and enjoyable times are sure to ensue!"

"Me and my family came here to camp for a weekend and we did not feel welcome at all. 1. All the toilets were clogged so we let the owner know, he proceeded to say “I know I wonder how that happened I was just in there two minutes ago” and does nothing about it. 2. We were driving our golf cart around doing nothing much just driving because we’ve seen other people doing it. Keep in mind he never let us know that we can not cruse around. He gave us one warning and said “next time I see you cruising around I will kick you guys out”. 3. I went into the store and got some candies and they over charged me. I told the guys at the front desk that the price didn’t seem right, but instead of doing something about it he just yelled at me rudely. Over all, we all have a bad experience in this camp site maybe it was that my family was all people of color, or maybe the fact that there was a lot of us. But that shouldn’t matter we were just like any other paying customer. We don’t speak for everyone there, but all my family and I did not feel welcome at all and will not be returning back there."
