"Awesome park on the waterfront. Restrooms were clean, views were awesome. Nice walking path. There are a couple of covered areas and benches along the way. There's also a boat launch and parking. A little gem of a place for the city."

"I have mixed feelings! For my purposes as a traveler, it was great! But I think if I lived here I would find it very lacking. I utilized this park as a stopping point on a road trip. It was a great place to park to view thr bridge, stretch my legs, make a sandwich from my cooler, and then walk over to get some ice cream and see a little of the town before heading back to the road. Perfect lil spot for a road trip wayside stop! I'd recommend it to any travelers. But, I can see this as a pretty boring non family-friendly place for locals. It's a tiny strip of land with crowded parking and few amenities. Usually residents want to see their riverside more protected and offering options for them and their families. I didn't see good fishing options, little seating, only a tiny strip of grass for lounging etc, and all the parking was mainly tourist people driving through like me or boaters and these cars were parked right up against the little strip of grassy area with no one really in sight utilizing the park itself. Plus there are no trails anywhere when there coupd be a nice over over to the bridge and back and extending along the river."
