"Quiet place at the Mississippi with Bellvue alongside. Watched a tug boat go through the lock. The viewing plattform was not open, but that may have been because it was a weekday."
"Gorgeous paved walk on a dike overlooking the Mississippi river! Several benches & swings to rest on. Very well manicured with flowers maintained by Master Gardners. Runs parallel to quaint downtown Bellevue which had lots of shops & cafes to pop into & get a bite or do some shopping. You can also climb onto the platform at Lock & Dam 12 to watch boats & barges go through the lock (not handicap accessible). This was our first time in Bellevue & we loved it!"
