"John C. Was incredibly helpful today! He helped me find big carts to load the 35 bags of cypress mulch I needed, then helped me load and unload. He also gave me info on how to save money using the lowes card and mvp program, which I signed up for. All in all my visit was greatly improved by John and his genuine demeanor."
"I tried to get help in the garden center, one kind young man was watering the plants and stopped to help me find an associate - arrogant and unhelpful. The guy in garden who checked me out was rude, basically accused me of lying about having a paid item in my cart I'd brought in for cutting, even though I had my receipt. The girl in the blind-cutting department looked like I had disturbed her and tapped on the box with her fingernail where it advertised "do it at home!" Where are the adults who can teach customer service. Sorry to have bothered you, but don't worry, I won't be back to do it again. Carry on."
"The staff here is quite helpful. The prices are competitive. I have installed my water heater through Lowes, and the quality of contractor they used and the parts are fantastic. In addition, I've come here for various small projects, and I am almost always able to find someone who is both knowledgeable and helpful. I don't quite get the same at Home Depot, where it takes forever to get someone to help, and then they don't seem to know what they are talking about / have other things they rather be doing. All in all, this is a great hardware store and deserves more attention."
"They are not doing a great jobe of social distancing at the most crucial point, the check out counter. They seem to only have two check out lines going at any given time. Normally a line of five or more people deep. Please hire more people its difficult to get help in some parts of the store."
"LAZY. Just ran up to my local Lowe's at 13201 RR 620 in Austin. I normally receive great help when I need it but NOT TODAY.... I was needing an outdoor cleaner for patio furniture. Bought it here last year and went back for more. After looking up and down the cleaning aisle for 20 minutes I found 2 managers standing by the inside mgrs office (by the exit doors). They were laughing and talking and seemed irritated when I asked if they could please help me out. I told them what I was looking for and they pointed to the cleaning aisle and said "If we have it that's where it will be". I explained I had already looked there and said last year a Lowe's associate looked for information on his phone and took me right to it -- and could they please do the same. The reply was "I've never seen anything like that in our store" and they turned their back and went back to talking. It was approximately 11:50 a.m. today 6/13/20. I asked another associate for their names and I think he said "Stacey and Wes" - regardless, it was 2 females and they were lazy and not helpful and couldn't be bothered. Ridiculous. I've shopped this particular location for over 8 years now and actually have some extremely helpful associates as well as a couple of managers who GO OUT OF THEIR WAY to help me all of the time in this specific store. Unfortunately I didn't have time to go through the store looking for one of them today. Too bad you have to look for the "helpful" ones. These 2 women today could use a lesson in kindness and consideration not to mention customer service."
