"My fiancée (now wife!) and I worked with Kasey and Kristin of Ponderosa for our Valentine’s wedding at home. Our goal for our wedding was an intimate, romantic day, and it was important to us to work with local businesses who value creativity and a personal touch. Ponderosa 100% fit this bill! After following their work on Instagram for a while, we submitted an official inquiry. The process was super easy - I shared our vision for our day, we swapped inspo images, and signed a contract! We fully trusted Kasey and Kristin as artists and professional, and they absolutely brought our Valentine’s floral dreams to life. They created 5 arrangements for a ground arch, my bouquet, and my wife’s boutonnière. I sent them a few simple inspo images and requested roses, reds and pinks, and plants safe for cats (we got married at home and have pets who like to chomp). Other than these loose requests, we left it up to them! They worked their magic, and the florals turned out to be one of the best parts of our wedding. They were even able to create two corsages for our moms, when we had the idea a few weeks before our big day! Days after the wedding, we’re still enjoying the blooms and they’re still looking beautiful. I wish we could have our house covered in Ponderosa rose arrangements all the time! Their work made our home feel so lush and special, and I know they’re going to make our wedding photos extra magical. They coordinated everything with Barr Event Co and my first in person meeting of them was the day of my wedding as they were unpacking the most gorgeous flowers and greenery. Their smiling faces and orange jumpsuits delighted me from the start and they were so excited to show everything they made for us. From the meadow for the ceremony to the magnolia garland to the cutest little bud vases and large arrangements each flower and greenery was picked and placed with masterful artistry.
