"Our dog had a few tangles and some matting. But, I did not want her shaved. I wanted said mats cut away and I wanted her to have a "hair cut". My husband specifically told Dawnie to not shave her. Well, she came home shaved. Looking like a rat and it was appalling and unnecessary. Its the height of laziness to do it this way. AND, her bottom was shaved so closely she bled at home and was sent home with cream. This was days ago and she is still traumatized. I will never return to this groomer and cannot recommend her. Its my dog and how I want her groomed is my decision. I am heartsick for my animal and miffed at the expense of a horrendous experience for our fur baby."

"I have a very old doggy that needs special attention. I found Poochie Palace/Dawnie and so glad I did. She groomed my boy today and was able to not only ease my mind but successfully groom my nervous little guy. I think they are friends now. :) I will definitely be returning."

"A very kind compasionate individul operates a wonderful groomer here. It was super nice having a couple meet and greats with her schnauzer. Our dogs were able to socialize and get to know her over the course of several visits and I don't believe anybody in town has any better equipment as her walk-in tub and everything seems super conducive, being easy on the animals."

"Dawnie is amazing! She did my childhood dogs and now she does both of mine! One of mine is very skittish and hard for groomers normally and she does amazing with him! They always look fabulous and she has great ideas too! Can't wait to bring them in this Spring!"
