"Five stars all the way around! The architecture of the building is stunning! The rooms are clean modern, and aesthetically appealing. I got a great night's sleep both nights, and the hotel is within walking distance of lots of great places to eat shop or sightsee. However I have to admit that the best part of the stay was the staff. Everyone was so helpful I am a country boy and I know absolutely nothing about the city, the front desk people the security team and every other person of staff that I talk to was not only polite and courteous but often very helpful. This is obviously a very well ran organization and I plan on staying there every time I come to the city."

"Loved the open feel of the rooms and bathroom. Although we had registered for a king room with walk in shower we ended up with a tub which was great. In addition the food at the restaurant was good although the service was kind of slow. It looks like a historic building but feels modern and updated on the inside. The gym, free coffee, and staff were great :) parking is $$$ but folks were kind and it’s very central"

"My best friend and I decided come here for our annual girls getaway. We were in Chicago for the Madonna concert. We had a fabulous time. We were greeted warmly by all staff and when requests were made they were promptly taken care. The on site restaurants of Bolera and Fillmore were great. Again food was beautiful prepared and tasted delicious! We were graciously upgraded to a corner room which was nice and open. As a boutique hotel, it had a character that was charming and old Chicago style. Would definitely come back to this location in the future."

"My faith is this brand is restored! After a very nice conversation with Alexis director of Rooms, I felt Gracious and and Appreciated. All of my issues where heard and action was taken. It's really is an amazing feeling when someone give you the time and dignity to hear you out. The customer service at this establishment is beyond Incredible. Not to mention the rooms are beautiful and have an air of luxury seldom found in other hotels. Our vist was successfully moved to the new dates. I can't wait for our stay! The staff was amazing, the hotel was clean and comfortable and I loved all the lounge areas - we had breakfast and coffee every morning in the lounge area and it was so relaxing - great way to start the day before hitting the bustling city streets. The staff was super, super friendly to my puppy. So sweet and friendly to my little shy rescued girl; I'm so grateful for their kindness in helping her come out of her shell! The valet staff was also incredibly hospitable - always greeted us with a smile and opened the door for us every single time we came through. I truly cannot say enough positive things about this hotel. We stayed 8 nights and I feel like that's a really good amount of time to see/feel/notice anything negative and we didn't at all. Every day was absolute comfort and joy. And I'm so not being hyperbolic; Kimpton Gray Chicago truly made Christmas 2024 the best! Thank you!"
