"Got lost asff because the trail markings and trail itself is next to nonexistent"
"Use a trail app and this trail is a great loop. Wore shorts and the Chiggers got my legs (They will itch for a week). Stayed away from foliage as much as possible. Max creek was dry but there were still pools the dog could swim in. I don't know why people worry about getting lost in here, head in ANY direction and you will eventually come to a road."

"Beautiful area to get super lost! River to River trail "lose your self in the nature of southern Illinois!". They mark new trails and leave half the old markers up so you have no idea which way to go. Thanks RR managment for making the trails as confusing and vague as possible."
