"A very nice knowledgeable staff and competitive pricing. Great place to sell or trade collector pieces."
"I went in for a transfer. 30 bucks for one isn’t bad but in my opinion about 10 bucks too much. I was told my gun wasn’t ready and would be ready in an hour. I questioned the owner and said why can you just log it in now. We went back and forth. He offered to have me wait. I was chastised for not waiting on a phone call to pick up my gun. 10 minutes, not an hour later I walked out with my gun but without so much as a thank you. Even though I made sure to say thanks for accommodating me. This is about the third transfer I’ve done here and each time I sensed annoyance by the people behind the counter. If you’re not a regular, you get just okay service. Well, here’s the thing. It’s my gun. I paid for it already. If it’s delivered while I’m there it should be transferred to me. It wasn’t delivered while I was there it was delivered 1.5 hours earlier. If you’re going to charge 30 dollars to do a transfer. Don’t complain when I come in to pick up my gun. I was the only customer and 1 of the employees was just sitting at a desk. No excuse to treat a paying customer like that. The boys down at Alamo don’t give you any trouble and only charge 20 bucks. I’ll give them 4 stars because they don’t deserve a bad rating. They just need to know where their money comes from. It was coming from me, but not any longer."
"I really wanted to love this place. I don’t know all that much about guns and brands of guns. Got my start with 22s, shotguns, then bought my first Glock in 2018. Being someone who has pretty small hands and a shoulder injury, and being on a budget with the economy and my job as a teacher, I was being picky with my next purchase. I was debating a smaller 9 or a carbine - and I was stopping in here at least once a week to see what kind of used guns and new guns showed up over the past month. I’d hold one or two to check the fit, and 2 or 3 times I didn’t even ask to hold - just checking inventory and leaving. The guys gave some great information if and when I asked on each visit. I’d go home and do my research and read reviews. I walked in today - my choice down to two options - and I was genuinely excited to finally “pull the trigger” and buy. Both were in stock. Unfortunately, the salesman inside, who was in a few of the times I stopped in, greeted me with “Don’t take this wrong way, but we’re not going to take out every gun in the store for you.” First off - this has got to be the worst salesman out there. Every time I’ve been in the store, he’s complaining about something or someone. Really sets the mood, all that negativity. Second, there was NOBODY else in the store. I lead with “I’m down to two options” and that was the response? I just don’t get it. I specifically found both guns online for $50 less than their markup, and I wanted to give them that extra money because of the service. I don’t know if this gentleman was having a bad day or what, but don’t take it out on the customer. I get it - indecision is frustrating and I was doing probably way too much research - but I’ve purchased guns in the past that I felt I rushed with and weren’t a good fit in the long run. If I could save by getting a gun used, then I was also willing to be patient. I’ll find another shop - and that’s a shame. People come first. That’s why I won’t buy online. But I also won’t buy from people who don’t have enough patience to deal with customers who are making a big purchase. I was very aware of being a frequent visitor - I just didn’t realize it was such an inconvenience on a Friday afternoon with an empty shop. Two previous visits I even threw money towards the gun raffle just to give something to this shop. If I walked in there and you know I’ve been coming in repeatedly, know that I’m a customer who wants to give you my money, but it just takes time. If you know exactly what you’re looking for - this shop has a pretty great selection. But I won’t be spending my money here when you treat people like that. Giving the two stars for selection and knowledge, but that was about the worst customer service interaction I’ve ever had."
"Very knowledgeable staff and great selection on new and used firearms"
"The guys in here are super knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable and welcomed. The guy who helped me was happy to educate me on what I asked about but didn't push anything beyond what I wanted to know. Now that I have the information provided to make a firearm purchase I feel much more comfortable moving forward and will be shopping here."
