"You should note that you are closed if your pool is closed as a birthday party. It is also very surprising that the price is the same from 3pm to 5pm as for the whole day"
"Very rude stuff especially lady at the front swimming pool, we have been many times here and we liked! The lady at the front doesn’t even look at you when she speaks to you , she wouldn’t answer questions if don’t speak English well People are saying that there is racism here in America, but I don't believe that. However, today I am experiencing something that makes me question my belief."
"The pavilion pool is nice — it’s clean and well maintained; and the locker rooms are always clean! However, the staff (lifeguards and swim instructors), leave much to be desired. I mention this, not to beat up on the lifeguards, but to make sure parents are aware as it’s incredibly important to know that the lifeguards are dialing it in which can be seen when they transition…they wave their finger pretending to scan the pool and deck for any issues, but often times they are not looking at what they are doing, this is how accidents happen. If this pool were to be audited by their insurance carrier or their lifeguard certification entity, I am not sure this would be flagged. The management also seems to unaware of their surroundings and the impact of their poor timing. For example: the pool manager wanted to do a safety drill for the guard on duty during private swim lessons in the warm pool and decided it would be a good idea to throw the 2 year old rescue doll into the pool despite the swim lessons occurring. The problem here is that the guard saw it happening begging for it not to happen (which defeats the purpose of a drowning/identification drill) AND it scared a number of the younger kids in the pool seeing a 2 year old rescue doll thrown through the air and into water. Finally, the private swim lessons offered through Elk Grove are an absolute waste of money. We had such high hopes for the program given the excellent swim team program they have. The instructors are set up to fail by their management, which in turn leads to kids not learning (and parent frustration). Between inconsistent staff week to week, no structured assessment program and no lesson plan week to week, you are basically paying for an in-water babysitter. There are so many better options available if you want your child to learn how to swim. While I may come across as a bitter parent, I only want the best for my son and anyone else expecting results from a swim lesson program."
"Wonderful indoor pool and small water park for the whole family. They have 3 pools, one for kiddos with a water slide, and water ship, the other pool is a heated therapy pool (My favorite), and then they have a lap pool. On top of that, they have a whirlpool and a steam room for adults. It's nice because I was able to go into the whirlpool and steam room while keeping an eye on my kids. The lifeguards were very attentive and did their job properly. The staff were very friendly. The only thing I would want is to have bathroom access directly inside the pool area. Instead you have to go back out to the locker rooms and use the restroom there. Not a big deal. I highly recommend this if you want to keep kids busy for 2-3 hours."
"Great indoor / outdoor swimming pools. Great staffs! Always a good time here."
