Reviews
"This large park has a few areas to enjoy baseball, soccer, swimming, Frisbee golf, basketball, walking, cycling, picnics and even community events. It's always clean and pretty well maintained. It's also an easy walk to both shopping and the Willow Creek preserve. You'll also find restrooms and a bus shelter."
"Nice pool in big Willow Stream Park. Very clean restrooms and changing rooms. When we arrived at 1pm was little crowded because of kids from some summer school or camp. Later become nice and quiet when they leave at 2pm. There are no separate lap lines but on deep side we were able to relatively freely swim back and forth across pool. Deep side is 11.2 feet deep and only swimmers stay here. There is slide and splash pool for kids as well. Personel is nice and friendly here. EDIT : During last visit there was one lap line. They are opening lap line after camps leave pool."
"Can the park district please invest in real extermination services so that the poor guards don't have to spray the wasps and hornets using store-bought cans? I have witnessed multiple kids gets stung during one single visit to this pool."
"We joined my son for swimming lessons rhis summer. There is never a proper response. They canceled the classes 4 times due to weather but they never ever inform us. There is no proper communication about classes. Today also they canceled the classes but no info. We have to go there and wait outside for sometime and come back. Very poor management and very very bad experience"
"Love this pool. There's lots of shaded areas, they allow outside food and beverages, and the kiddie pool is the right depth to play in but not have to constantly be vigilant. The slide is way fun and doesn't drop into a pool, so it's safe for non swimmers."
