"This place ruined two pair of expensive jeans I brought in for original hem. Went back a couple of times to ask for a fix and what they did was to further ruined them. One of the pair of jeans had a shorter inseam and at that point they insisted it was the way I wear them. At the end my last visit to ask at least for a refund of $36 for their service, they so funny told me that they no longer will service me. Jajaja. I will never come back here, but thanks for reminding me."

"If you are in the Lake Bluff/North Chicago area and need some dry cleaning done, do not use Carriage Cleaners. Last month, I had a shirt and a coat taken to them a week prior to an event that I needed the clothes for. When I picked up my clothes, the coat was burnt (identical brown streaks on both ends of the seam) and the pocket directly beneath the marks was ripped. I spoke to the owner about this and I was offered no apology and they would not take responsibility but took care of it all the same. When I returned two days later, the marks were not gone and the employee told me that those must have been there when I dropped off the coat, which was brand new and never worn. After essentially being called a liar, I requested to speak with the owner for a refund. Unfortunately, the owner was not there, but I was told that I would be contacted by him on the phone. I was never contacted. TLDR; these people are dishonest and will take no responsibility for their mistakes. My biggest problem was this, as I completely understand that accidents do happen."
