"EDIT: IN RESPONSE TO EMERICS REPLY - Although being completely dissatisfied with their services, we have indeed paid our bill in full and never asked for free services. Happy to attach the receipt if necessary to further prove how this business lies to potential clients. We hired Emeric for floor cleaning services after finishing construction in our salon in June. When the owner of our business first met with Rita from Emeric Services, he made it very clear that he was not looking for someone to come mop the floors as we can do that ourselves. He was very specific that we wanted equipment to remove the dirt from construction we had just finished and cleanse the floors. He was told by Rita that Emeric Services would be bringing special machinery to cleanse the floors and remove the dirt. He also specified that we would be re-opening for business on June 9 and needed these services completed by June 4th at the very latest so that we had time to prepare for opening our salon. After numerous cancellations from Emeric, they finally sent staff to come complete the services on June 8th, just one day before our opening. They arrived with only a vacuum and mop (exactly what we stated we did not want) and no special machinery to cleanse the floors. When we again explained that this was not what we were looking for, we were told they had equipment to seal the floors. We refused these services as we obviously did not want to seal the dirt from construction into the floors, we wanted to remove it. After much discussion and repeatedly explaining this was not the service we were looking for, we were told they would go get the proper equipment and return promptly to start the services which were long overdue at this point. They returned four hours later with new equipment which they told us STILL was not the proper machine for our floors, but that they would do their best. As you can see from the videos and picture attached, we were left with an end result of not only still dirty floors, but scratched floors and floor boards as well which was a result of Emeric Services using the incorrect equipment on our floors. After numerous attempts to resolve these issues with Emeric over the past four months, we are left with no choice but to file a small claims case and make this public in the hopes that we can prevent other small businesses like ourselves from this terrible experience in the future. Working with Emeric Services has been the absolute worst experience we have ever encountered as a business. Not only was the service itself so horrible that it actually left our floors in worse condition than before, but the customer service was extremely unprofessional, with horrible communication and sarcastic attitude coming from both Rita the OWNER and employees of Emeric. There is absolutely nothing about this experience we would recommend, other than to stay as far away from Emeric Services as possible!!"

"In mid November Emeric was referred to us by our realtor to come in and deep clean our home before we had our first open house. The crew was scheduled for a 7:00 am arrival time. We had a photographer arriving in the afternoon to photograph our home for a real estate website. By 8:15 am no one from Emeric had arrived. My husband contacted the service and was told that the scheduled crew was held up in traffic and would send another crew. Shortly a crew arrived. To say they (Emeric cleaning crew) were on their game would be a farce. The group that came to our home did an extremely poor job cleaning our home. You could see where they simply dusted the front of shelves, extreme streaks left on windows and mirrors, and places where the hardwood floors were not even mopped. It was a joke to say the least. Even our real estate agent remarked at the very poor cleaning. We contacted the cleaning company and they pushed us to allow them to reschedule another cleaning at no charge. In mid December, after rearranging my schedule for the day (so I could be there), we scheduled an appointment. This time at 11am. It was explained to Emeric that they needed to be completely finished by 3pm because I had an appointment at 4pm. Sadly, Emeric once again did not show up at 11am. In fact, after the crew did not show up by 12:30pm. We had to cancel since we did not want another "drive by" cleaning experience like we had before. As before, they offered to send another crew in the area. But, for us, this was their last opportunity. I should note also that Emeric did NOT reach out to us on either occasion to let us know there was an issue with traffic or late arrival. To add insult to injury, Emeric did offer to refund us and as of the writing of this post, they have not. My best suggestion at this time with regards to booking Emeric Facility Services....BEWARE. *UPDATE- Emeric refunded us yesterday.01.07 2020."

Our initial phone contact with Emeric was also very positive: all questions were readily answered, and e-mail communications were prompt, with all terms and services clearly explained.
